At Nahalat Shalom you have experienced Judaism through worship, learning, dialogue, joyful celebrations, community involvement, arts, music, and dance.
You have found a home in this community - one that inspires joy, practice, exploration of Jewish ethics, and nurtures spiritual growth.
You recognize and appreciate the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and the myriad of ways you are able to explore your values and passion for social justice within, and beyond, the teachings of Judaism.
Now is the time to commit to living, sharing and passing on this vital and heartfelt Judaism to those who come after you by joining our L’Chaim Club.
Make and an investment in the sustained future of our spiritual and cultural center for Jewish Renewal in the Southwest, Nahalat Shalom.
Your promise, legacy commitment, will ensure that the enrichment of Nahalat Shalom will be available to our children, grandchildren, and grandchildren’s children.
We named our circle of support, L’Chaim Club - a name that honors life, “L’Chaim”. May we all live to 120 but when we pass, may we leave a little something to our community.
Invest in the future by including Nahalat Shalom in your will, estate plan, as a beneficiary of life insurance, an IRA, or other assets without decreasing your current income. Or, if you prefer to donate cash during your lifetime, you can join the L’Chaim Club with a minimum donation of $1,000.
If you’d like more information, a personal conversation to explore your legacy, or if you have already included Nahalat Shalom in your legacy plans let us know. Contact us at office@nahalatshalom.org
Spiritual Leadership Endowment
Nahalat Shalom’s Spiritual Leadership Endowment was created in 2017 to meet the congregational needs for a rabbi and cantor for generations to come. Your legacy gift will be applied to the Spiritual Leadership Endowment, unless you provide other instructions. While memberships and donations enable us to operate, these funds have been historically insufficient for sustaining a rabbi and cantor. The Spiritual Leadership Endowment was designed to supplement the synagogue’s operational budget in perpetuity allowing us to prioritize our spiritual leadership as we move into the future.
